As Powergirl, Kara's been a member of Justice League Europe, and thus has earned the respect...well, okay, maybe not /respect/, as such, but... hell! I'll say respect if I want to! Well...at any rate, the hero community is well aware of her, and she's easily recognisable to anyone who sees her. She's gone through some costume changes, but those hoo- um, those ti- er, that che-...wow. People know her on sight; most heroes would be willing to assist her should she ever require it.
