well-meaning drivel

we are the free minds
a people of all kinds
of thoughts and convictions
and love at its best

before us are legions
of doubts and of questions
and we with our answers
will lay them to rest

and if these our answers
are found to be wanting
then new-formed opinions
we'll devise and test
