My last birthday was a lot more lonely - and for no good reason whatsoever - than this one. Which was last week.

I'm just - I don't know. Quietly gleeful. Anxious. Grinning like an idiot. So goddamn hopeful. Trying not to look like a moron, or worse, desperate. Because I'm not. Definitely not ecstatic, though I was this morning. The hamsterexpression stayed, though.
