If anyone’s been wondering (if anyone’s noticed, o you my multi-pathed reading friends) where I’ve been and why I’ve been scarce of late (especially this past week)--

From where I am sitting, on the couch in the living room, I can see without undue straining:

1 fiddle
1 viola
1 electric bass
3 regular acoustic guitars
1 fender stratocaster
1 martin backpacker
1 fender acoustic 12-string
3 C whistles
3 D whistles
1 Eb whistle
2 G whistles
1 F whistle
1 mandolin
1 banjo
1 digiridoo (don’t ask, i don’t know)
1 melodica
1 accordion
...AND THREE MUSIC STANDS.

And all that implies for six people with two full practice sessions and two microphones for a GIG THAT IS TOMORROW.

This will be interesting, but at least it’ll be over fast and --

--oh shitz, no, tomorrow after the gig I go to work. And work at the desk next to the loudest phone tech ever.

i dont know how i originally missed this post when you made it, but what gig was this? how did it go? sounds like a fricking BLAST, just from the instruments listed.
