apoc bowling cosmicking fifteen holocos incognito khund legioncon lyle pulp robotica steampunk tmk uniform villain
Apoc:
Indeterminate age. The man's hair and eyebrows are a shocking snow white, and his face and posture are worn. For all that, his hands are young and his face bears no wrinkles; when he's angry, he's electrified into action and comports himself in the manner of a man in his twenties.
Unkempt and scruffy, hair wild and clothes tattered, he looks like he's made a lifestyle out of sleeping in barns and on rocks. He wears a deep purple hooded jacket with a wildly uneven hem, a once-white linen wraparound shirt, and dun-colored patched trousers. His boots are the same greyish white as his shirt.
Bowling:
Casual. Yeah right.
You can take away the uniform, but you can't de-Legionnaire Cos, here. Even though he's wearing relaxed, informal clothes, there's still an aura of commanding presence inextricably intertwined with the young man's person. This is not a guy who had leadership shoved on him - this is a guy who was practically born with it: stance, carriage, the cant of his head, expression set, tone, interactions. He exudes an easy authority and an honest concern.
Startlingly vivid blue eyes are at once bright and old, set in a pale, cleancut face whose gravity is often mistaken for seriousness. His features are strong and even, with a sharply delineated jaw and a high forehead shadowed by a shock of his jet black hair - hair that's neatly and classically cut, and generally always combed. He has the wiry build of a swimmer, musculature well-defined but evenly distributed.
Cos is wearing a black bowling shirt, button-down and fairly broad-collared - it's got two thin stripes of purple down it, both running from shoulder to hem. It's not tucked in, but only because it's clearly not meant to be. His trousers are summer-weight denim and cut to a relaxed fit, and the ends are cuffed to about an inch above his ankles, displaying the Converse All-Stars logos on his black canvas sneakers. On his left hand is a gleaming golden Legion Flight Ring.
Cosmic King:
What's with today, today? Dressed almost entirely in black - bodysuit, boots, and belt - this man looks like a favoured godson of La Famiglia. The only colours on his person are Cosmic Boy's flight ring and a narrow, abbreviated tunic version of his Legion counterpart's signature uniform top. All that black lends an air of subdued dignity to its bearer; the dignity is heightened by the gravity of his expression.
His build is on the lean side of average, not particularly towering but rather hard to tower over; his back is always straight and his movements always careful; it's apparent that his musculature is well-defined.
This is Cosmic King, and unlike the man who still calls himself a 'boy', the blue of *his* eyes is stark and icy, like winter on Tharr. The rest of his face can be described as almost impossibly ideally heroic: a subtly rounded angular jaw, even features, well-defined cheekbones, a straight nose, very expressive eyebrows. His hair is cut neatly in a classic 'respectable' style: short in back and on the sides, slightly longer and impeccably styled in front.
Fifteen:
OMG it's POL KRINN!! Wait no.
It's actually Cosmic Boy, no for serious sure, but he's about fifteen. He looks like the captain of the Junior Varsity Boys' Soccer Team, all built but freakin' short, somewhere between 5'1" and 5'2".
His black hair is a little overlong in front, flopping into his eyes, and his eyes are the same bright blue and serious that they've always been -- but his face, it's got less wear, and not even the hint of ever having seen a razor. The scars he has look terribly out of place.
The kid's wearing black trousers and grey-and-white boots, a formfitting white shirt, and his old Meteors jacket; under the jacket is his Legion utility belt, and on his hands are his usual fingerless black gloves.
Holo-Cos:
A stylised and streamlined version of the visual aspect of Cosmic Boy: lines and colour, a vivid and simplistic rendering, animate. His uniform is primarily black, rather than an even split of black and lavender; from the waist down, and sleeves and sides and scapula. The purple is a deeper shade, too; there's a ring of it emblazoned across upper chest and back, and the Legion standard stripe from ring to belt. Cos' traditional metal discs and shoulder-guards are still in place, but a gleaming silver-white rather than the mirror sheen of steel. His flight ring is visible against black fingerless glove, and it's matched by the gold of his utility belt's buckle.
Cos's hair and features aren't spectacularly detailed -- nothing is, in fact, but it's easiest to tell here: blue-black highlit hair, visibly separate shadows on skin, intense blue eyes, perfect idealised lines and angles and smoothed edges. For all that, he moves as carefully casually as ever, motions those of a highly trained athlete.
Incognito:
Dressed in charcoal greys and black and white, Rokk Krinn displays the modestly wealthy look of a young businessman who inherited and then invested wisely. All the lines are cut cleanly, sharp delineation and striking contrast; his hands are covered by black gloves. The lack of color lends an air of subdued dignity to the young man who carries it; the dignity is heightened by the gravity of his expression.
His build is on the lean and 'slightly tall' side of average, not particularly towering but rather hard to tower over; his back is always straight and his movements always careful; when his jacket is off, it's apparent that his musculature is well-defined.
Cos' stark, monochromatic colorscheme is broken up by one thing: his intensely brilliant summer-blue eyes. As far as the rest of his face goes - well, it can be described as almost impossibly ideally heroic. He's got a subtly rounded angular jaw, even features, well-defined cheekbones, a straight nose, very expressive eyebrows; his hair is cut neatly in a classic 'respectable' style: short in back and on the sides, rather longer on top.
Khund:
This guy is short, sullen, surly, and unkempt. He's also a pointy-eared Khund: the kind with light red skin and mauve hair -- blue eyes, though, so he's probably part human or something similar. Particularly angry blue eyes. Like most of the Khundish males at large about the galaxy, *especially* the ones that've somehow wound up enslaved, he's scar-tastic - even if some of the scars are odd, or in odd locations (punctures on one side of his neck, burn marks on his temples, and more standard scars like those acquired through struggling against restraints). He has the standard trappings of a menial: inertron tracking collar, plain and sturdy clothing marked with designation numbers, calluses, and... more calluses. No shoes.
LegionCon:
The guy's con badge says 'Conner Kent', and he's unremarkable in a Flash t-shirt, TwenCen-style jeans, and a pair of pink fuzzy bunny slippers - even with a Flight Ring; everyone and his brother's got a replica. His black hair's messy and dishevelled, like he spent the night on a couch in the con suite and lost his comb; a pair of blue-tinted vision-correcting lenses hover in front of his eyes, and he could use a shave. He moves with a sort of slouchy grace, noncommittally athletic. All in all, a standard fan.
Lyle:
Well... this cosplayer's at least got the uniform right. Black bodysuit with a white 'i' down the center from the waist up, black headband, Flight Ring, and Legion utility belt. He doesn't seem to have gone to much trouble to get the *details* correct, though. Everyone knows Invisible Kid's got brown eyes and brown hair, and a build on the stealthier, more wiry side -- *this* guy, he's got black hair and blue eyes, and looks like he's a pro athlete.
Pulp:
Cheerful but woefully responsible-looking, Rokk Krinn looks like...a boy scout. His jet black hair is cut neatly and classically, short in back and on the sides but long and kind of floppy on top - and, of course, combed impeccably. Occasionally, locks of hair will go astray, framing his fair-skinned, stoic face; it's usually his vivid blue eyes that catch people's attention and hold it.
The clothing Cos wears is almost pulp science-fiction in attitude. He's wearing a black military-cut jacket with a deep burgundy stripe down the middle, which fans out near the top of his chest to encompass his shoulders, then trails down the outsides of his sleeves. It has a high circular black collar, is fastened all the way up, and bears four metal discs on the chest - two to each side. His trousers are made of thick black denim, and tucked into well-shined black boots. Around his waist is a utility belt with a holster on one side instead of pockets, and it's clasped with a bright gold (L*) buckle.
Robotica:
Frighteningly vivid blue eyes are at once too-bright and old, burning with fever or fury from a pale, haggard face that's too tired to hold an expression for very long. The young man's features are strong and even, with a sharply delineated jaw and a high forehead shadowed by a shock of jet black hair - hair that's shaggy and unkempt, uncared-for. Not just his hair, either; he's got a few weeks' worth of beard going, as well. He has the wiry build of a swimmer, musculature well-defined but evenly distributed; right now, he's thin - underfed and overworked, physically a wreck.
One can at least identify /something/ of this fellow: he's wearing the stained and tattered remains of what was once a Braalian Meteors magnoball jersey. This doesn't help an awful lot, as many of the free Braalians sport them - the world may be in ruins, but their pride and joy is in the championship rounds of the Cosmic Games, again. His trousers are equally torn and ragged, and his feet are bare. He doesn't wear any jewelery or ornamentation - or if he did, it's long gone.
Steampunk:
Dressed neatly, impeccably, in the military-branch uniform of Her Majesty's Lunar Archivists, Rick Chron is easily identifiable as the serious young navigator of the Legion, the royal chronocartography vessel. Every 'i' dotted and 't' crossed, neither a thread nor a hair is out of place.
Glossy black hair, a fair and stoic face that may as well be carved from stone, clear summer-blue eyes - not too tall, but what he lacks in stature he makes up for in presence. The uniform only underlines this: black and burgundy, accented with gold, dignified and official without being officious. There's a ship's affiliation insignia on the right arm, matched by a gold signet ring: a stylised 'L' coupled with an eight pointed star, much like that found on a compass rose.
TMK:
A man in his early fifties, average height and a little burly, with ice blue eyes and jet black hair. His face is careworn and grim, and he has a permanent five o'clock shadow; his hands are callused from hard work, and he stands very straight. He's wearing a grey jumpsuit and a grey jacket, and on the front where a pocket would normally be is a set of three concentric blue circles.
Uniform:

His jet black hair is cut neatly and classically, short in back and on the sides but long and kind of floppy on top - and, of course, combed impeccably. Occasionally, locks of hair will go astray, framing his fair-skinned, stoic face; it's usually his vivid blue eyes that catch people's attention and hold it.
The uniform Cos wears is a personal variation on the standard Legion cut, as all the uniforms are. His colors consist of a wide deep purple stripe down the center (on a black background) which tapers conically to encompass his neck and shoulders and run down the fronts of his arms, black fingerless gloves, and a black collar. Steel rings encircle his upper shoulders, and four steel discs are attached to his chest. Around his waist is a Legion utility belt, clasped with a bright gold L* buckle.
Villain:
What's with today, today? Dressed all in black - black turtleneck, black trousers, black boots, black suit jacket - Cos looks like a favoured godson of La Famiglia. Even his hair is, yes, jet black. The only not-black thing he's wearing is a gold ring with an 'L' on it. All that black lends an air of subdued dignity to the young man who carries it; the dignity is heightened by the gravity of his expression.
His build is on the lean and 'slightly tall' side of average, not particularly towering but rather hard to tower over; his back is always straight and his movements always careful; when the suit-jacket is off, it's apparent that his musculature is well-defined.
Cos' stark, monochromatic colorscheme is broken up by one thing: his intensely brilliant winter-blue eyes.
Okay, so there's a lot of recycled bits and repetition. But I wanted to document these somewhere other than on-game. :P A note of explanation-- most of these are plot and/or elseworlds-specific.
