The Radio: 'I once had a dream...'
Mar. 30th, 2003 11:17 pm'...that there was a woman who was found with 82 household objects lodged in her body. I'm still trying to figure that one out.'
Astroburger is my new favorite band. We are singing it to you with our fingers in your ass. Oh ho ho. I tillegg til den kommende O-Men/Anal Babes-LPen, kan vi bl.a. vente på debut-albumet til El Turbonegro som har fått den smektende tittelen "Hot Cars And Spent Contraceptives". Men vær advart på forhånd: "May not be suitable for untermensch, so you might as well forget about it, Buster."
I don't know about you, but that title is HOTT.
"If you were to trace your relationship to music on a graph, with the x axis representing time and y representing your current engagement with what's playing, the resulting line would mostly consist of small squiggles interrupted by an occasional spike upward. These are the moments when you hear something new and exciting for the first time. Sometimes an entire plane of music, heretofore unexplored, suddenly spreads out before you and fulfills a need you've long had, maybe one you weren't even aware of..."
Also oh, oh yum. Babylon brought us the digital age - and we're stealing it back. Freeradicalmusic.com - UK's underground scene. So tasty. I need my broadband back. Now.

Good UK Music...
Date: 2003-03-31 02:29 pm (UTC)I'm not sure if this music is within your tastes, for they do use quite a bit of hip hop and R&B... but they use everything, even jazz and foreign music (like from India). They are known for their use of a lot sampling from odd ball sources, which is what I love... I miss my Akai S2000 ::sniff:: ::sniff:: They ussualy select some really good music that never gets radio play. The show is varied throughout each set and each show is usually different... I've had a hard time NOT being able to find a show that someone didn't end up liking.
On an unrelated note, I've been wondering how you came across my LJ, since we don't have any common lj friends...
